About Us The association “Solidarity for Youth without Alcohol and Drugs,” abbreviated as SYAD, is a Burundian legal association working specifically for young people with the following objectives: Encouraging young people to quit and avoid drug and alcohol addiction, supporting youth initiatives for peace and development, promoting new information and communication technologies, helping widows and orphans find means of survival, and finally, fostering solidarity among association members.

The association is built upon the solidarity of its predominantly young members, a significant strength in achieving these objectives.
